David C. Lower, PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy, Owner

David C. Lower, PT, DPT, received his Master of Physical Therapy in 1995 and went on to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy in August of 2005 from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia. He was born and raised in Gainesville. He has been professionally involved in the field for over 16 years. His experience spans sports medicine (with an emphasis on shoulders and knees), post-surgical rehab, stroke and brain injury, geriatrics, manual therapy, foot and ankle injuries, orthotics, and spine rehab. David is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, including the Private Practice, Geriatric, and Orthopedic sections, and is also a member of the Florida Physical Therapy Association. He has been a triathlete and raced in ultra-marathon (over 100 mile) bike races, including the team RAAM (Bike Race Across America) in 1993. David is married and has five children. He enjoys biking, going to the beach, and spending time with his family.

Erienne Blanchard, PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Erienne graduated in 2008 with her Bachelor of Health Science from the University of Florida, and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2011 from UF as well. She was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida and prides herself in being a homegrown Gator. She is a member of the Florida Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association, including the Neurology, Geriatrics, and Orthopedics sections. Her prior knowledge of wellness programs helps us improve our programs to advance and enrich the wellness experience. She is currently pursuing specialized education in TMJ along with head and neck physical therapy.

Steven A Solana, PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Steven received his Bachelor of Biology in 2001 with an emphasis in medicine from the University Of Georgia. After his degree he went on to start and run a small business until a knee injury landed him in physical therapy for 4 months. Following this event, he realized his passion for assisting and promoting recovery among injured individuals and the importance of health in one’s life. In 2011, he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine with an emphasis in manual therapy. Steven is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Florida Physical Therapy Association, including the Aquatics section. He is married and has one daughter, a recent addition to his family. He is currently studying and actively treating patients whose first language is Spanish to better serve them in our community.

Rachel Bucnis

Administrative Assistant

Rachel graduated from the University of Florida in August, 2006. She then moved to Denmark and lived there for 10 months working as an au pair and youth director. She joined our team in January, 2008 as the administrative assistant and is here to make the entire process as personable and smooth as possible for each patient.

Rosalba Vassallo

Exercise Aide

Rosalba graduated from Saint Leo University in 2011, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in health care management. As our exercise technician she assists the physical therapist and helps our wellness patients with their exercise routines. She is fluent in Spanish and Italian. Her goal is to become a Physical Therapist.
