David C. Lower, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy, Owner
David C. Lower, PT, DPT, received his Master of Physical Therapy in 1995 and went on to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy in August of 2005 from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia. He was born and raised in Gainesville. He has been professionally involved in the field for over 16 years. His experience spans sports medicine (with an emphasis on shoulders and knees), post-surgical rehab, stroke and brain injury, geriatrics, manual therapy, foot and ankle injuries, orthotics, and spine rehab. David is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, including the Private Practice, Geriatric, and Orthopedic sections, and is also a member of the Florida Physical Therapy Association. He has been a triathlete and raced in ultra-marathon (over 100 mile) bike races, including the team RAAM (Bike Race Across America) in 1993. David is married and has five children. He enjoys biking, going to the beach, and spending time with his family.
Erienne M. Blanchard, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Erienne graduated in 2008 with her Bachelor of Health Science from the University of Florida, and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2011 from UF as well. She was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida and prides herself in being a homegrown Gator. She is a member of the Florida Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association, Orthopedics section. Her prior knowledge of wellness programs helps us improve, advance, and enrich the wellness experience.
Daniel R. Ontiveros, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dan graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with his Bachelors in Kinesiology in 2008. He then went on to graduate from the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2013. He fell in love with physical therapy in high school after a personal injury. He loves the outdoors for both activities and exercising. He enjoys ultimate frisbee.
Kristin Amaral, LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist
Kristin graduated from Florida School of Massage and is continuing to study massage in order to better her care of her clients. She is currently proficient in Swedish massage, reflexology, women’s health, prenatal massage, hot stone, low back and spine, sports, and connective tissue. Her deep understanding of the body works hand in hand with her intuitive therapeutic touch to improve the quality of life and wellness of her clients.
Rachel graduated from the University of Florida in August, 2006. She then moved to Denmark and lived there for 10 months working as an au pair and youth director. She joined our team in January, 2008. She is currently the Business Manager and is here to make the entire process as personable and smooth as possible for each patient.
